6 1/2 months

The girls are doing excellent!!  I don't recall what I wrote last month so some of this may be a repeat of what was already mentioned.  Over this last week Ruby has finally begun to bear her own weight and both girls look so proud when they're standing with me just helping with the balance.  Tummy time has improved tremendously.  Just this morning Ruby rolled over from her stomach to her back twice and I'm able to leave both girls on their tummies longer and longer each time.   Ruby went through a short lived phase of squealing and sometimes screaming but luckily she hasn't really done so for the past few days.  I compared their bodies this morning and it really looks like Ruby's catching up with Layla.  Their next appointment isn't until the 22nd of April so I won't get to know if that's the case until then.
I stopped trying to feed the girls rice cereal a few weeks ago and then yesterday I attempted oatmeal and that seemed to be more well received.  I think they aren't quite ready to eat solids yet so I'll give it a try in another week or two.  The girls are sleeping through the night again so that means that I'll be making Larry's breakfasts in the mornings:-)
I'm finally feeling like my body is back to normal since the pregnancy and my muscles are getting much stronger.  My back is still having a few issues but I believe that if I just keep working it out it'll get better.  I'm beginning to get a daily exercise routine started and the several times I was able to do it I felt amazing.  I'm making more of an effort to dress up when I go out.  I was in so much pain and discomfort that for a while I was wearing sweatpants and t-shirts every where I went.
Larry's job situation is looking more hopeful.  Someone from the new company travelled to Portland to talk to Larry and his coworker about their intentions.  Basically it sounds like his job will continue but only as an outside contractor.  I'm hoping that they won't overwork him like his current job but he's not as hopeful.
