Yesterday was a follow-up appointment for the girls to see if they were gaining weight. I could definitely tell that they had gained quite a bit from the way they were growing out of their clothes and small diapers but it was a relief to actually have them weighed. Layla is now 10 pounds and Ruby is 9. The Dr. was very proud of the improvements and told me to keep doing what I'm doing and she'll see me in March at the next check-up.
The girls still don't like tummy time but they love to lay under their baby einstein activity mat to bat at hanging objects. They're smiling often and always when I'm changing their diapers. It also seems that they talk in their sleep on occasion... I'll think they're awake but when I check on them they're still sound asleep.
