Finally a new post

Since my last post in October a lot of changes have occurred. On November 13th we moved in with Larry's brother and sister-in-law. We decided to do so when unemployment said we wouldn't have benefits for 3 to 6 weeks due to a standard investigation which was initiated when Larry reported his earnings from his volunteer firefighting internship. A week or so after the move the UI benefits were reinstated and all was well. During our stay my sister-in-law and I had fun times cooking together and the girls got very good at walking on slippery wood floors. Larry graduated from EMT school on December 12th and took and passed the national EMT registry test the following week. Larry found a firefighter careers website which lists all the cities which are accepting applications and or testing and we starting using it right away. In the meantime Larry started asking the guys at Woodland fire where they recommended looking for work. His supervisor told him that New Mexico is always hiring and I immediately started applying for work there. Sante Fe was testing in January so on New Years Eve our family hit the road. Larry passed the written exam but was fumbled in the physical when he skipped a station. It was a hard set back but the testing experience was good for Larry. On the way out of New Mexico we stopped in Gallup NM to visit Larry's supervisors old boss at the fire department. We felt that Gallup would be our fail safe if we couldn't find work elsewhere.
I have to go make breakfast now. To be continued.

Sorry Michael... and upon reading your comment I realized I didn't publish a long update that I thought I wrote. I'll try to bridge the gap in my next update.
